Why we started

We kept seeing a gap between how personal care is sold and what people actually get. Too many products are overcomplicated, overpriced or far from what you need day to day.

We wanted the opposite: products that look and feel good, do one clear job, are explained honestly and are priced fairly. Things you trust enough to come back to.

The name comes from salt. It is basic and unpretentious, and it has stayed in every home because it is useful. That is what we want our products to be.
